I use a mac that I bought in '07 as my primary laptop, but it runs OSX 10.4; I'd need 10.5 (PLUS bootcamp, PLUS XP/Vista) to run the exam software on it. So I borrowed my dad's 17" Dell laptop, which is fair because I gave him my 15" Dell laptop when I went to law school. The real lulz in this is that neither Dell is or was the primary machine for either of us.
Anyway, it was too much of a hassle to transfer all the files and programs I need onto his computer for about 3 days of actual use, so I brought both. It seemed like a brilliant idea until I had to carry them across the airport. |
