It's always deceptive to look at CEO's wives, because they tend to be ugly and acquired when the CEO was a less-confident middle management fledgling. You need to look at what the random exec. is pulling on the side, at hotel bars and on AshleyMadison.com, to see what his upper bound truly is.

Married a whole bunch younger and better looking. Had to pay a lot of money, but he doesn't have that much longer to live. It was probably worth it to him, since you only live once.
